I work with all types of people from Individuals (young children to older adults), Couples and Families. I use various treatments from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Systemic.

Depression treatment

Depression can negatively affect how you feel, think and behave. Symptoms can vary in severity, frequency and duration. If you experience some of the following nearly every day for at least 2 weeks you may be struggling with depression.

Feeling sad, anxious
• Feeling hopeless, worthless 
• Crying a lot
• Feeling irritated easily
• Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy
• Lack of energy and fatigue
• Difficulty concentrating, remembering or making decisions

Anxiety disorders are different to ordinary feelings of nervousness or anxiousness. It usually involve excessive fear or anxiety. Anxiety disorders can cause people people to try to avoid situations or places that can worsen their symptoms. Trauma treatment

You could feel a range of emotions immediately after the event and in the long term you may feel overwhelmed, helpless and hopeless. It can have long term effects on your well-being and develop to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Additionally, if you have experienced exposure to multiple traumatic events you may be suffering with complex trauma. It can negatively affect your daily life and your relationships.

Symptoms can be:

• Flashbacks
• Disturbing memories of the event
• Guilt
• Self-blame
Difficulty concentrating
Anxiety and fear
Feeling sad
Disconnected or numb

Bereavement support

Losing loved one is extremely distressing. If your feeling of loss are debilitating and don’t improve after time passes or if you struggle to recover from your loss and resume life as you knew it please seek my support.

Symptoms of complicated grief can include:

• Intense sorrow and rumination over the loss of your loved one
• Significant difficulty to focus on other things but your loss or excessive avoidance of anything that can remind you of the death and loss of your loved ones 
• Difficulty accepting the death
• Feeling that life has no meaning or purpose
